Why... you made your point and you have the right to do it.
I never complain but your post right from the heart and straight forward.
You also told the truth.
The fact is the last promised made to me was on Jul 27 with the words "End of this week".
Keep in mind my PiCo is/was unusable so i removed it and never saw daylight since then.
Setup:
1x RPi3 - PIco hv3.0A Plus / Domoticz / RFXtrx433E
1x RPi3 - PiHole / logging gas,elec
3x FI9803P Cam

4x KD101 detectors
a lot of KaKu/CoCo stuff

Hi,
Some explanation is needed from our side. We have ready firmware a long time already, however due to some compiler bugs (multiple ones) some parts was not able to be tested properly. We solved most of them going down to assembly, and direct registers programming, however at the same time we have had problem with our former SMD assembly manufacturer. As quality of assembled board ware not satisfied, it cause us a lot of problems with testing, as we are not releasing boards that we are not sure for 110% that everything is fine. Due to that reason, we put all our resources to finding and setting up of a new production as big part of the old one lost. The new manufacturer is good, I would say very good. We are not passing of our production outside of EUROPE (i.e. China), due to customs and long distance. So, we finally put our manufacturing in Poland, in a very good factory. However, please kindly notice that we are a very small company just 3 people. So, that manufacturing problems (changing to new manufacturer), as increased requesting from industrial companies of our PCBs, made us to be crazy, or another saying overloaded. Firmware was in acceptable level, OK, some parts needs to corrected, and some added. But, it was not possible to be done with our resources. Now, we have ready working excellent production, and finalizing the firmware, or rather testing it, as in the mean time a patch come from the compiler manufacturer, so writing in assembly was not needed anymore.
This firmware is going to be released very soon, I hope next week (really), including everything we promised and more. The new production is running well, and in next 10 days we expect to receive 1500 pcs. So, all of ours distributors will have devices to supply you.
Another one point was, that setting of a new production in a new manufacturer, costs. So, instead of setting the old one PIco, we corrected what recognized, and new production will provide slightly corrected PCB - 100% compatible with the old one. Just to avoid double paying of production.
I'm very sorry for these delays, but it could happen in small companies. We ware obligated to select: new firmware and out of stock for a very long time, or delay little bit the firmware, and cover mass orders. We selected the second.
Warmest Regards
PiM

Hi,
What version of PIco do you have Stack or Plus. What is your powering when it happens (cable or battery)
